Looking to get involved in Slow Fashion Week? We have a few different ways you can join us across the week. If you are a designer, maker, or brand, you can book onto our runways or marketplace for a minimal fee. If you are an individual, you can apply to volunteer as a model or as part of our backstage crew. If you are a brand looking to sponsor the event, please get in touch.

We've decided to change the name of our annual flagship event to Slow Fashion Week, effective in 2025 and going forward. This is to better encompass all forms of fashion that focus on slow, sustainable approaches, from independent makers through to established brands. In short, we hope to showcase the many alternatives and different approaches to fast fashion.

This year, our flagship event at Brighton Dome will be free to enter. Tickets for our programme of events throughout the week are £6, with a £3 low-income option for those who need it.

Slow Fashion Week is put on by the Brighton Fashion Collective, a long-term project by a group of volunteers operating under Brighton Peace & Environment Centre (Charity) and Sew Fabulous (CIC). As a team, we collectively volunteer hundreds of hours to organise the week.

Our aim is to invite the local community to participate in slow fashion in a range of ways, as accessible as possible. However, we are unable to do this for free, as hosting our events incurs significant costs, including venue hire, transport, and insurance. We also pay hired staff, and hope to be able to pay all involved someday.
