We're a community group made up of passionate individuals and led by two local non-profit organisations - Brighton Peace & Environment Centre, a long-standing local environmental charity, and Sew Fabulous, a sustainable sewing and textiles studio and Community Interest Company.
Our mission is to champion sustainable fashion initiatives locally and to amplify national and international campaigns. Each year, we produce Slow Fashion Week at Brighton’s iconic Dome and host a diverse range of events throughout the year. All our work is dedicated to fostering a more sustainable and ethical approach to fashion.

Sew Fabulous
Sustainable - Community - Education
Sew Fabulous is a sustainable sewing and textiles studio based in Brighton Open Market.
We run a busy program of classes, workshops and outreach activities.
Our focus is on sustainability, we achieve this by teaching people to design and sew their own clothes and to mend and alter their clothing. We run swaps and are working towards a circular economy.
Brighton Peace and Environment Centre
Brighton Peace & Environment Centre (BPEC) is a long-standing charity that works in Brighton & Hove, Sussex and the South East to promote peace, equality and the environment.
Through our activities we educate and empower local communities to take action for positive change.
